Having been professionally trained as a commercial advertising photographer, Jim spent his post-college years refining his eye for light, film and design.  He continued to push the limits of photography, which naturally lead to his transition into film and video.

 

While working as a camera / sound operator at a video production company, Jim volunteered to build a simple, eight-foot set. From that point on, Jim was the “go to” for any sets that the production company needed.

 

Shortly after that Jim moved ahead to explore the craft of set and prop building. He continued to hone his skills by working under some of the finest production designers and art directors.

 

After going out on his own about 15 years ago, and taking the creative helm of many set designs, Jim has amassed a vast body of work, which includes films, commercials, still photography, retail and event displays.

 

Jim has created a niche in the northeast by providing creative set and prop solutions which are delivered and installed on time.

 

Over the years Jim has had the opportunity to work with some of the area's finest artists, carpenters, sculptors and craftspeople. At a moment's notice, Jim is able to assemble a crew to assist you in the fabrication and installation of your set or prop.
